The botanical extract, Huperzine, has been used in China for centuries for a myriad of health benefits. Huperzine is a naturally occurring alkaloid found in the extracts of club moss, Huperzia serrata.

Studies have indicated that Huperzine’s benefits are a result of its ability to support healthy cell to cell communication and healthy blood flow, both of which contribute to enhanced memory function. The mechanism by which Huperzine exerts its effects is thought to be through its ability to slow the breakdown of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that is necessary for neural communication.

Brain Regain™ combines Huperzine with RoseOx® Rosemary Leaf Extract (circulation health), Ginkgo Biloba, L-Glutamine (an alternate fuel source for brain tissue), Phosphatidyl Serine (an essential nutrient for the normal functioning of neuronal cell membranes), Gotu Kola, and Choline (a component of acetylcholine) for an overall support product for memory and brain health.*

Cautions and Interactions
Huperzine A should be avoided by children, pregnant women and nursing mothers. There are possible adverse effects in those with seizure disorders, cardiac arrhythmias, asthma, irritable bowel disease and inflammatory bowel disease. This product should not be used by those taking prescription medications or who have a history of heart or pulmonary problems without the advice of a physician.
