SUGGESTED USAGE: As a dietary supplement, take 6 capsules daily, in 1-3 divided doses, preferably with meals.

Calcium is the most plentiful mineral in the body, with almost all of it found in the bones and teeth. The remaining calcium is used for various bodily functions such as muscle contraction, blood clotting, and nerve communication. Along with phosphorus, magnesium, and other minerals, Calcium helps build and maintain bones and teeth.

Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite (MCHA) is the substance that gives bone its hardness.  MCHA is an extremely bioavailable form of calcium and phosphorus, and provides a far superior absorption compared to traditional forms of calcium. Bone Strength™ Formula also contains magnesium (the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and essential to good health), trace minerals, and targeted vitamins such as C, D and K, which help to support healthy bone tissue.

Cautions and Interactions
Calcium supplementation is contraindicated in those with hypercalcemia. Those who form calcium-containing kidney stones are generally advised not to take supplemental calcium.  Otherwise, calcium supplements are generally well tolerated.
