SUGGESTED USAGE:  As a dietary supplement, mix 2 1/2 tablespoons (17 g) into at least 12 oz. of water or juice, and blend.  Be sure to drink plenty of additional fluids throughout the day.  Start with smaller amounts and gradually increase to full serving size over several weeks or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.  Use once or twice daily for optimal effect.

HOW IT WORKS:  Dietary Fiber is known for its ability to support healthy intestinal functions, such as detoxification and regular removal of waste products.*  Insoluble fibers act to provide fecal bulk and regulate peristalsis, reducing bowel transit time and minimizing colonic exposure to potentially harmful detoxification byproducts.*  Soluble fibers can retard the absorption of dietary carbohydrates, thus helping to maintain healthy blood sugar and insulin levels.*  In addition, soluble fibers can bind bile acids and dietary cholesterol, thereby reducing the absorption of cholesterol from the intestine.*

Fiber O-3™ provides both soluble and insoluble fibers, as well as lignans and omega-3 fatty acids from Golden Flax Seed Meal.  Acacia, which is also rich in soluble fiber, can help to control gas and bloating associated with high fiber intake in some individuals.  This formula also contains Inulin, which serves as a prebiotic, nourishes and supports healthy intestinal flora.  Fiber O-3's™ blend of certified organic ingredients therefore, work together to comfortably promote optimal intestinal function and support healthy gut flora.*

Cautions and Interactions
Drink plenty of water or other liquids while using this product.  Flax Seed supplements may interact with amoxicillin, furosemide, metoprolol, ketoprofen, hormone replacement medications, oral contraceptives, and antidiabetic drugs.  If you are currently taking any of these medications, or if you are pregnant, consult your healthcare practitioner before using this product.  In addition, high dietary fiber could affect the absorption of other drugs and some nutrients.  Therefore, it is recommended that fiber supplements be taken several hours apart from other mineral dietary supplements and medications.  For more information on this product go to www.protocolforlife.com/P5993
